School Philosophy
The SHS Educational & Welfare Society is a non-profit, non-proprietary educational body widely recognized for its progressive approach and commitment to excellence. Distinction and diversity are the twin hallmarks of our philosophy, educational leadership and scholarly achievement is our mission.
Brief Introduction
The school has been established at Jindalpur, Bhadson to Sirhind Road, Patiala. The foundation was set up in August 1999.
The first phase of the building is complete. The school is functioning from the building located on Bhadson Sirhind Road, at Jindalpur. The school has entered the secondary stage and has been upgraded to senior secondary stage from the session 2007. The school has been affiliated to the C.B.S.E, New Delhi vide letter No: CBSE/AFF/ 1630313 with the expansion of the school it will also new areas of development1 next phase will include a swimming pool and a skating rink, a cultural centre and art centre to be added.
In the last Sixteen years SHS has produced a galaxy of eminent men and women, who have brought glory.

The school was established by the S.Hardam Singh Welfare and Educational society, Jindalpur in the year 1999. The foundation stone of school was laid on 8th August, 1999 by Baba Dhana Singh and Late Baba Kalyan Dass Singh Ji in presence of many distinguished guest and the member In its name signifies the name of his highness S. Hardam Singh.
The school had been started to meet the ever-increasing demand of the public for a imparting quality education. For proper development of student’s personality, value education is must. The school has sufficient material in the form of library books, audio visual aids, and computer technology, Art, music and sports, which are utilized for imparting better education.
Building of the school is spacious and functional. Apart from the teaching block, it has separate administrative block, which consists of Principal office, Faculty room, Library, Computer room, Art room, Music room, sports room and office. Spacious grounds are available for meeting the requirements of the major and the minor games. By passage of time, additional accommodation will meet the increasing demand. It is heartening to note that our school has been affiliated to C.B.S.E., for 10+2 level in the streams of Medical, Non-medical, Commerce and Humanities.
